My Google Earth project is a tour of places around the world that I would like to visit someday. These places are spread out over the globe and they are mostly just places that interest me. Some are there because I want to learn about the culture, like Nigeria. Others I just want to go to see some historical sites, like Athens Greece. All of these places are ones that I would like to go to before I die because they all appeal to me for very different reasons. I used the features: Image overlay, paths, layers, and polygons.
I have 3 image overlays, one path, and one polygon. One thing on Google Earth that worked well for me was the searching for places and then putting on place markers, the path also worked well for me, possibly because it is a pretty simple tool. The things that I thought didn't really work well for me or that i found confusing were the layers, they were easy but I didn't know if it would stay saved one certain places or not.

I thought that your project was laid out very well and didn't have many flaws. The only thing that I did notice is that your image overlays showed up as an X instead of the picture, but that had happened on mine also. It seemed like you knew what you were going to do ahead of time since you have 18 different locations.
ReplyDeleteI think that your tour is very good. the only thing is that the high school is very random that is okay because it has a polygon and a path with it. one other thing is that you need some descriptions with all of your great places. but i really like the places that you put and there are a lot of them which is good. i wish i could go to all of those places too. they look very interesting and fun to go to. well over all your google project is very good! good job!! :)
